Brendan Shanahan may have brought home in the last game before the break but it was a team effort that makes it happen wins. Devils players before obtaining ice time this season include David Clarkson Patrik Elias, Brian Gionta, Robert Holik, Jamie Langenbrunner, John Madden, Jay Pandolfo, Zach Parise, Brian Rolston, Mike Rupp, Shanahan, Travis Zajac and Dainius Zubrus. Advocates of the team get ice time this season include Sheldon Brookbank, Andy Greene, Jay Leach, Paul Martin Mike Mottau John Oduya, Bryce Salvador and Colin White. Goalkeepers for the team are Martin Brodeur, Scott Clemmensen and Kevin Weekes, but Brodeur is currently List of injured reserve. Hats go to the coaches, staff and medical team, many of whom work behind the scenes making what it takes to keep the players fit and on top of their game as much as possible. The coaches include head coach Brent Sutter, coach Deputy John MacLean, Tommy Albelin assistant coach and goaltending coach Jacques Caron. The training staff consists of Head Coach Richard Stinziano, equipment manager Rich Matthews, assistant equipment manager Alex Abasto, deputy director of equipment Matthew Mitchell Assistant equipment manager Mike Thibault, strength and conditioning coordinator Michael Vasalani, Tommy Plasko massage therapist, fitness advisor Vladimir Bure physical and exercise physiologist doctor Garret Caffrey. A team of coaches Trust are also on site and consist of Pat Burns, Jacques Laperriere, Larry Robinson, Scott Stevens and Chris Terreri. With a 5-2 victory over the Canadiens, the Devils will end the month of January with two more games against the Bruins and the Penguins, away and home, respectively. In February, the Devils will travel and take to the ice as visitors in games against the Thrashers, the Panthers, Lightning and Islanders. At home in February, it will host games against the Capitals, Kings, Rangers, Islanders, Bruins, Sharks, Avalanche and Panthers. Games during the month of March will be a mixture of home and away games. Opportunities for travel Devils include away games against the Maple Leafs, Islanders, Canadiens, Hurricanes, Bruins, Flyers, Blackhawks and Rangers. On their own ice, I hope the Devils will make their best pieces to host games against the Flyers, flames, Coyotes, Blackhawks, and wild Hurricanes. In April, the Devils will have two home games against the Lightning and Maple Leafs. The remaining games will complete the season away games for the Devils when they take the Penguins, Buffalo and the Senators as visitors with the last game of the current season against the Senators or Saturday, April 11. With ranking third in the Eastern Conference right now, the Devils are in a good position with 29 victories, 15 defeats and 3 OT but this is not a time they can get comfortable, even with 5 consecutive victories, they have just experienced.
