For those of you who don’t know what Turbulence Training is, I will provide a quick overview before reviewing it. Turbulence Training is a high intensity fitness program that relies on strength training more than cardio training to create ‘turbulence’ within the body thereby boosting the body’s metabolism. As a result of this, your body burns calories quicker.

The result is that your weight loss and muscle building are achieved within a reasonably short period of time. Turbulence Training requires little time (3×45 minute sessions a week) and can be performed in the comfort of your own home.

Turbulence Training is a relatively new, but increasingly popular fitness program that can help you reduce weight in three 45-minute sessions per week using minimal equipment. For this reason you will have to be prepared to invest in some fitness equipment.
Turbulence Training works through the individual performing a series of workouts in which you do a lower body exercise immediately followed by an upper body exercise. By completing high speed, and high weight exercise such as this, ‘turbulence’ is created in your body. This increases your metabolism allowing you to burn fat faster than a normal workout would. Obviously lifting heavy weights also allows you to build muscle at the same time.

There are times when the weather is not conducive for most outdoor exercise activities, such as jogging and biking. There are other times when the cause for resisting going out on a bike is not the weather, but something more internal: the unwillingness to spare time to get dressed and get geared up just to cycle a couple of miles, before having to go back to real-life problems of having to deal with work and appointments. Nonetheless, these are all reasons why many cycling enthusiasts have been supportive of the creation of the Stationary Exercise Bike.

It is nearly impossible to suggest a specific fitness program. This is because we all start with varying levels of fitness. In addition to this, everybody has different goals. Individual goals usually fall into one of two broad categories.

The first category involves weight loss, and the second involves increasing core strength and toning/building muscle. Any good fitness program also involves a mixture of cardio and strength training exercises. Your goal will determine how much emphasis is placed on each of these. Make sure that you do set a realistic goal or goals. Reaching your targets will help keep you motivated.

It is of course only natural for the vast majority of people to find it harder to keep away all that unwanted pounds as they get older. The main reason behind that is unchangeable biological fact that our metabolism goes down a much slower pace as you get older. It is the bane of every exercise buff out there for now or until they come up with a solution to it.

While no sane medical researcher will claim outright that physical exercise can repair a damaged immune system, exercise can strengthen immune system. It is a fact that exercise can help maintain and even enhance the immune system, both directly and indirectly.
As exercise helps lower stress and boost one’s energy, these findings have become a staple in medical science. While there are some details that tend to have studies contradict one another in this department, the general facts remain the same.
