As most people would know, young people under the age of twenty are usually more flexible and more energetic due to their faster metabolism and lack of wear and tear. However, if they leave their own physical fitness to languish, they can become more prone to injuries and will become weaker, fatigued, and overweight quicker. Children are quite easy to bore with routines and strict schedules that adults usually follow. Therefore, a different approach other than organized group sporting events and such should be looked into. Perhaps just some rounds of martial arts, tennis, swimming, basketball, dancing, cycling, gymnastics, and other sports at one’s own leisure would do.

What Does A Good Fitness Program Involve?

It is nearly impossible to suggest a specific fitness program. This is because we all start with varying levels of fitness. In addition to this, everybody has different goals. Individual goals usually fall into one of two broad categories.

Fitness program

The first category involves weight loss, and the second involves increasing core strength and toning/building muscle. Any good fitness program also involves a mixture of cardio and strength training exercises. Your goal will determine how much emphasis is placed on each of these. Make sure that you do set a realistic goal or goals. Reaching your targets will help keep you motivated.
